Rigobert BONNE (1727-95); cartographer; succeeded Jacques-Nicolas Bellin as Hydrographer at the Depôt de la Marine in 1773.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

His works include Atlas de Toutes Les Parties Connues du Globe Terrestre, Geneva, 1780.

Plate number 17 was used twice (as indicated by the suffix bix on the map of the British Isles) due to an error by the engraver; the final plate is numbered correctly as 49.

The maps are copper-plate engraved and uncoloured.
